Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Tolerates low light but grows best in medium to bright indirect light.
 
Water: Water when the soil has dried out completely. Avoid overwatering, as its rhizomes can rot.
 
Temperature: Keep between 65–85°F and away from cold drafts.
 
Humidity: Tolerates average household humidity and does not require extra humidity.
 
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or succulent mix with added perlite.
 
Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted, balanced houseplant fertilizer.
 
Repotting: Repot every 2–3 years or when rhizomes and roots outgrow the pot.
